Returns and Exchanges

Exchanges

For all online purchases, Ong Shunmugam will exchange an item for the same item in a different size, subject to availability. Please refer to our Exchange Procedure and Conditions stated below.

If the replacement size you require is not available, you will be entitled to return the item and you will be refunded in the same form of payment originally used for purchase. Please refer to our Return Procedure and Conditions.

To exchange your item for an alternative style, we suggest that you return the item and purchase the new item as a separate order. Please refer to our Exchange Procedure and Conditions.


Exchange Procedure

To exchange an item, notify us at orders@ongshunmugam.com and quote our order number as reference. Inform us of the replacement size you require so that we can check on availability and put the item on hold. We will reply to you within 2 working days.

We recommend that you use a secure and trackable means to return your order to us at ONG SHUNMUGAM, 43 Jalan Merah Saga 01-76 Singapore 278115 and that you retain proof of postage, as Ong Shunmugam cannot be responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit.

Once we receive the items we will inspect them to ensure they meet our Exchange Conditions. If these conditions are met, we will dispatch the replacement size within the next 2 working days.


Exchange Conditions

To facilitate a successful Exchange, please ensure that your item meets these conditions:

  • Items to be exchanged must reach us within 5 working days (Singapore orders) or 14 working days (international orders) from the date the item was signed for
  • All items must have their price tags intact and uncut
  • All items must not be damaged, stained, washed and in the original condition they were sold
  • Stained items will be subject to a dry clean charge, if the stains cannot be removed the item will be returned to the purchaser and the exchange will not proceed
  • Postal costs for returning the items are borne by the purchaser, however we will waive shipping costs for the replacement item
  • Duties and taxies on the replacement item are borne by the purchaser

Ong Shunmugam reserves the right to deny an exchange on any item where the above conditions have not been met. We thank you for your understanding.


Returns

It is important to us that you are in love with your purchase. We will therefore honour all returns on online purchases, subject to conditions. Please refer to the Return Procedure and Conditions stated below.


Return Procedure

To return an item to us, notify us at orders@ongshunmugam.com and quote your order number as reference. We will reply to you within 2 working days.

We recommend that you use a secure and trackable means to return your order to us at ONG SHUNMUGAM, 43 Jalan Merah Saga 01-76 Singapore 278115 and that you retain proof of sending, as Ong Shunmugam cannot be responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit.

Once we receive the items we will inspect them to ensure they meet our Return Conditions. If these conditions are met, we will proceed to issue a refund.

A refund for the full value of the order, excluding original shipping costs, will be issued in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 30 days of receiving the returned order.
