Suvarnabumi Tropicana

Tropicana is a wonderfully playful extension of Suvarnabumi homeware, and our way of bringing the tropics within reach. A range of stoneware, soft furnishings and rattan chairs recreate a sense of joy and longing for all things warm and sunny - paying tribute to natural materials, botany and cultural signposts native to Southeast Asia.

In true Ong Shunmugam fashion, textiles from some of the oldest British furnishing brands are lined up against ancient Balinese ceramic traditions, clay from Kalimantan, feldspar from Java, kaolin from Belitung, duck feathers from Hangzhou and a legacy of rattan craftmaking in Johor.
